We are just getting started in developing this site about Multiple Sclerosis and hope that you find the news and information we collect for you helpful. These are exciting times for both suffers of MS and the researchers and practitioners in the field of MS because of the all the new and rapidly evolving developments. The Human Genome has been sequenced and the fruits of that project are just starting to be harvested. Epigenetics is emerging as an important new mechanisms that overlays the hereditary genetic mechanism. Many new drugs and therapies are being clincally tested and will be proven (or disproven) effective. Finally, the World Web Web has connected us all, patients, physicians, researchers more tightly that ever before in ways that allow for immediate feedback, social connection and dissemination of information.
